Controller Hardware

Post by eric_t »

Controller is an Arduino Nano generating 250 hertz pluses following the Tass pulse duration and pause pattern and randomly selecting the order of finger stimulation while activating each finger every round.

The Nano outputs 5V square waves. These are stepped down to 0.9V using a series voltage divider of 22K ohm and 100K ohms resistors. The reduced voltage is fed to the inputs of two stereo amplifiers:

TDA2822M Low Voltage Stereo 2 x 1W Audio Amplifier Board

The outputs go to Cat6 RJ45 connectors, Cat6 cables have 4 twisted pairs and are used to connect the controller to the gloves.

The finger tip tactors use: Tectonic TEAX09C005-8 Haptic Feedback Transducer 9mm 0.5W 8 Ohm

Thank you for all of the information! Do you have any sort of schematic for how the controller is setup?

Thank you for the schematics.

Are you also able to provide the 3d printer files by any chance ?
Is the casing of the arduino etc. custom printed or built into a generic case ?

Thank you
Jari
